You've probably noticed that when you are really absorbed in doing something, you can lose track of time, of yourself and pretty much anything else in the world except what you're doing. Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi calls this Flow.
He came up with 'Flow Theory' after studying the happiness of more than 100,000 adults all over the world.
He asked them when they were happy recently and to describe what they were doing. What he found was quite interesting: "Being completely involved in an activity for its own sake. The ego falls away. Time flies. Your whole being is involved, and you're using your skills to the utmost."
You'll feel yourself get into Flow when you take on a challenge that you have the skills to pull off well. Like a game that you've totally mastered.
Optimum flow happens when the challenge is slightly greater than the skills you
have. It stretches you into a happy place.
Play Flomo and practice flow.
