Exercise is good for your body and your brain. We all know that.

Exercise with light sabres is even better.

Counting to ten gives you time to get out of the moment and calm down.

If you still feel stressed or angry after watching this video, then something is probably really wrong.

Weirded-out much?

Take Risks image

A risk that makes a different and surprising outcome more likely? Hell yeah. We'd give that a go.

If Subo hadn't stood in a queue for 11 hours, and risked her reputation, and the ridicule of the X Factor panel of judges, she'd still be living in a semi in Scotland with a faded dream.

This type of risk is all about having a flexible mindset. Saying yes to something new, when it feels more comfortable to say no. Putting yourself out there, when it's easier to stay in the shadows. Standing out from the crowd and up for what you believe in. Discovering that doing something different can be better.

Big risks can bring big opportunities.

Is what you're doing counterproductive, needless, and delaying?

Endlessly tidying up, fiddling with your phone, making your fourth cup of tea in an hour... unless you work in a teashop, you're probably procrastinating.

Trick yourself into action

1. Organise the 'thing' into a set of smaller tasks that are easier to do.
2. Guess at how long you think it should take to do each one.
3. Make a list of the mini-missions and check them off as you complete them. Mmm, satisfying.

Writing lists will help you figure out what you need to be doing to get you started, but remember to stop writing the list. If your list has gone onto three pages of A4 on both sides - it's probably not a useful list any more.

Hey, are you doodling? We can see you... now get on with it!
