How To Play

SuperMe is a web game made up of videos, games, quizzes and cheat codes. It's about resilience: how to feel good when life chucks you lemons. How to be better at thinking positively. How to cope with, and learn to love, failure.

By playing through every piece of content you'll score points, collect experience and earn achievements. And as you get better at the game, you'll get better at life. Win!

Logging In

You log in using your Facebook details because that way we don't need to save any of your personal data or bug you with emails. You simply log in and out whenever you like. No nasty surprises. You can play without logging in but we can't hold more than your last two scores, and we lose those when you go away. So if you want to play the whole game, log in.

Experience
There are 1000 experience points to be collected in Wisdom, Ability, Influence and Connection inside the bars in your dashboard, at the top of the page. The more experience you collect the better you are, and the higher you'll level up. In the videos and quizzes you get a bunch of points when you complete each one. In the games it's trickier, and you have to reach a target score to collect all of the experience. It's harder than the rest. Do you remember when people lived in caves? Well, it's not that hard.

Levels
You'll start off as a novice, and you'll level up through apprentice, monkey, robot, ninja, mentor, guru, chief, master and all the way to SuperMe. If you're curious about what kind of monkey or robot you are, you can see yourself in the dashboard above. Nice tail.

Psst
You'll notice little red messages will pop up every so often, in the top of your browser, which help you to find new things to improve on your weaknesses and build on your strengths. When you level up or do something really cool, you'll see gold messages. We'll also give you hints as you go through the game on the right hand side of the page. You can see how well you're doing by opening your dashboard above.

Scoring
On your dashboard you can see the experience you've collected, your achievements, your score and your progress, as well as whether you're beating your Facebook mates.

Cheat Codes
The Cheat Codes area is the place where you can learn much more about happiness and resilience. This area is filled with life lessons, quotes, videos and other cool stuff. These are cheat codes for life, and not for the game. They won't help you score big at SuperMe, but they will help you score big in real life.

Tips

Friends. SuperMe is a lot more fun if you play with friends. The multiplayer game, Proximity, can be played by up to four players.

Try new things. If you only stick the things you know you like, you will only get experience points in that one area. To progress and win, you need to try out everything at least once.

Grab all achievements. There are 20 achievement badges you can win by pulling certain tricks, or by being especially awesome. Aim to get all of these and you'll end up increasing your experience points score at the same time.

Answer questions. Quizzes give you a big boost in experience. They're over here.

We're really glad you're here, and that you're playing the game. Wait, you're not playing the game, because you're reading this. Go on, hop it! Go and play.
